Quite honestly LB - it's getting to the stage where I'm just laughing about it now.

It's all extremely frustrating, irritating but so very first world problems. We feel like we're banging our heads, but trying very hard to keep a sense of perspective.

We know we're fortunate to be in the position to have these problems to start with and we're lucky to be dealing with this rather than some of the real sh*te some people are going through.

Still flippin' irritating though! If it's any consolation - I can get as wound up thinking about what you're going through trying to sort out your energy supplier.

Signing out for tonight. I've had a severe hailstorm battering the front windows which made Lily jump up off my knee in fright and leg it. It was accompanied by thunder and lightning. Biglad, I hope that my bins haven't trundled off down the street. See you all tomorrow.

  • Thank you everyone, very kind. The rhodidendron is a winter flowering one @Ladybird4
Most of my crocus have disappeared this year, probably the squirrels, we have a couple  often in the garden 🤦‍♀️ Sorry your MH  is still in need of more repair. Do hope it can be fixed soon. Hope the repair man, your brother, dentist and friend get well soon. Think a G&T is in order tonight.
@Ante30 looking forward to seeing more photos on your new thread.

I enjoyed lunch and chat at my friend's. There was a woman I hadn't met before who I liked, a retired florist. OH enjoyed his lunch in the pub with a couple of the husbands, too.

Howling gale outside. I hope it's OK tomorrow when we are driving to Wiltshire to stay with other friends.

    Sleep well everyone.

  • Just popping back in.......the wind is howling outside here too. I've just heard a bin go clattering down the road. Do hope it calms down, sounds horrendous.
@Busy-Lizzie so glad you had a lovely  time with your friends and how nice to meet a new one. Hope the weather is better for your journey tomorrow.

    Night night again.

Snoopy - The World Famous Skiing Champion Loves his Fans Good morning snoopy Snoopy Snoopy and woodstock
A very good morning one and all. When I went out to pick up my milk bottle I noticed that my neighbour's recycle bin had blown over in the night and all their stuff is scattered all over the Cres and the green. There is probably some on my garden but I didn't go that far to look. My bins, thank goodness. are still wedged upright. I do hope that the binmen get here early. It will seem strange not going to Bestie's and Foodbank today but my cold is getting better.
Safe journey Busy and your OH. Good to hear you both had nice catch ups yesterday.
