We have an old ruin of a farmhouse in our plot and on the south side we have left a corner to grow wild with nettles, brambles and apple mint as we only ever see that side if we're out there mowing or checking the boundary fence where the neighbour lets all sorts of weeds grow.
In the far corner of our plot we have a fallen walnut tree which cannot be dealt with yet so all round it there is long grass and weeds where we can't get in to strim, let alone mow. All sorts of birds and insects in there and no doubt rodents, snakes, lizards, toads and who know what.
Maybe I should enter those for Chelsea?

And lets not the forget the vogue for desert and dry, barren Provençal gardens with lots of bare stony soil and a few weedy plants. Thank goodness that's gone.

Quite so KT53 and I was going to cordially invite anyone to come and help themselves to the wild flowers (coff) in my garden whenever they want but it seems that perhaps you have enough of your own.
More than enough @Uff but thank you for your kind invitation.

I wouldn't mind a few weedy plants, but the only things which have no problem growing even when we do go for weeks without rain are the darn weeds.
If you don't want to bother reading the article, and I don't blame you for that, this dog has had one leg amputated! At the time I posted this, the article had been on line for over 3 hours and the staff there hadn't corrected this rubbish.
They also have some wierd fascination with anything Nick Knowles does. There was an incident at Chelsea where Ainsley Harriot's sister fell in the water and they managed to incorporate a photo and mention of Knowles, despite him taking no part in the recovery of this lady. He was at Chelsea when it happened though, which obviously therefore makes him the headline character.
I read about that @KT53, but what astonished me was that they said Nick Knowles was the brother of Ainsley's sister. I couldn't quite get my head round that, and assumed it was a mistake! I meant to do a bit of investigating, but by the time I'd read the short piece online, I'd lost the will to live....
As long as he [Knowles] spares us any more musical recordings, that'll be fine.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
OH had 75th birthday yesterday, so I got straight onto the website and booked him for his spring booster this afternoon. Just back, feeling fine and he is very pleased!
