re the induction hob, it loses heat immediately it is switched off. I can also just lift the pan off onto a rack, at which point the hob will detect there is no pan on it, and will switch itself off. And if it does boil over, the spillage won’t go on cooking or burn ( needs the metal for the heat to be generated ) and can just be wiped up. Brilliant!
Happy birthday @BenCotto. Great news for your wife too. Similar here in a small way. Today I took OH to see a dermatologist about a couple of moles I was worried about. She says they're benign but did find a brand new, teeny, naughty one on his forehead which will come off on Jan 3rd.
