Not quite as joyous as passing your driving test but our car passed its MOT so I'm cheerful.

Wouldn't that be a bummer if you passed your test and the car failed its MOT.
    It really would be! 😂

Luckily mine passed two days before I bought it and the next three are covered so I’m ok 😂

The thing to remember about an NOT is that the car was up to standard at the time it was tested. This is no guarantee that it will be safe for the next twelve months. We always get our car serviced before the test. There are issues that the MOT doesn't address.
My point is, passing the rest doesn't mean the all clear for 12 months.

Hopefully mine will be ok. It’s just had a service and has three year warranty and (when I go in) I work over the road from the dealership

It had only done 13000 miles so is pretty much still a new car.

    I’m jinxing it now aren’t I?

When you told us earlier that you'd passed your test I thought you meant for the first time and that you were a new driver. I'm still a new lass and still catching up with things  :) Anyway, I'm pleased you did. Does it feel strange being on the road again?

    Touch your wooden steering wheel😆
Wasn't there a car that had a rectangular wooden steering wheel?

Don't racing drivers have half a steering wheel?
I can remember when wheels were square, well, nearly remember. No engines in cars in my day, no floors either we had to run to make them move.

No it was my first time.

I bought the car about three weeks ago.

I’ve been doing other things since I was 16 and never got around to learning.

    I started lessons in December

The crazy thing is I’ve loved cars since I was a dot. It feels good to finally have one that’s not a matchbox car 😂

@B3 the Austin Allegro had a "quartic" steering wheel, square with rounded edges.

As l know you're dying to know all about it, the attached may be of interest.
