Well done.   Get a liner of some sort for your boot for plant excursions to save mess with leaky pots and spilt compost.

Today is a friend’s birthday. I was wondering what to write in her card so, following Tui’s idea, I looked up her saint’s day to get ideas.

Today is Saint Zita’s day.  She is the patron saint of housework and drudgery.

So get down on your hands and knees and know that whatever work you do today it will be blessed by her saintly effect.

Is she also the patron saint of spots?
