    Hi @pansyface,

In my life housework only happens when it's raining.
It hasn't rained for weeks here .... and none forecast. So the place will be minging, but the garden will be lovely.
    It's all about priorities  ;)

I've always had pond liner in my car boots, for exactly that reason @TheGreenMan   ;)
I also have plastic boxes - 3 across the width. Handy for shopping, plants and my walking stuff, and easy to lift out if necessary.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Talking about mucky cars, my RTBC is I've just washed mine after a foray in the muddy woods on Easter Sunday. Just got to get the thick mud from under the wheel arches and do the wheels. Hells bells I was so ashamed of it.

I had a carpet fitted yesterday and have a lot of the thick rubber underlay left so I may use that for now.

Plastic boxes are a good shout. 👍🏼

If you get a boot liner, don't forget where you put it.  I knew I had bought one a few years ago but couldn't find it.  I lifted the boot mat a couple of weeks ago and guess what was tucked down beside the spare wheel.  Duh!!

There seem to be patron saints for just about everything, so is there a patron saint for patron saints?  If so who is that patron saint's patron saint.  Yes, I know it's getting silly.

Not quite as joyous as passing your driving test but our car passed its MOT so I'm cheerful.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Wouldn't that be a bummer if you passed your test and the car failed its MOT. :D
