Maybe, Fairygirl, but it feels like a privilege to have a relationship with a wild animal. Tutu first approached me while I was out in the garden, following me around very closely until I took the hint and offered it some peanuts, which it took from my hand. Must have another ‘friend’ somewhere in the neighbourhood to have picked up the habit of being fed. We call it Tutu because that’s what it said it’s name was when we asked.

I do know what you mean @Ergates:)
Dave is called Dave because of Steve Wright joking and saying 'All right Dave?' to an imaginary pigeon on his show, as per Trigger with Rodney in Only Fools and Horses.
I couldn't not call him Dave after that.  :D
He sometimes used to sit on the bucket I used for prunings etc

Fortunately - he perched the right way round, or he'd have tipped it over  :D

Perching properly  is probably a basic skill for pigeons @Fairygirl, a bit like putting one foot in front of the other is for us … of flying is for you 🧚‍♀️

@Dovefromabove - think it was more luck than judgement with him. He's not the most 'mobile' - to  put it kindly  ;)

Flying properly would be handy. Any tips?  :D

We've actually got some blue sky too, although there's also loads of black clouds.
Blimey - two days in a row. I wonder how long today's spell will last....
