    Afternoon all,

Seems like Barbados is the in place right now, we think that's where our NDNs are. They did tell us that they were hoping to go for Christmas but that didn't happen. Hope the tests go okay @chicky, how exciting for you.

It's was still drizzling here and very grey - not conducive to gardening, although I could go out and prune the wisteria and cordon apples I suppose.
We had a friend call in for a quick coffee this morning whilst in between delivering and collecting a patient at the local hospital. He's part of a voluntary group of drivers for an outlying district. It was good to see him and I think OH appreciated the 'mens' chat about cars. I tend to just switch off.

That birthday cake looks gorgeous @Dordogne_Damsel, I'm sure yours will be just as good if not better. Little birthday cakes are a good idea.

  • It started dry but overcast here today but since about 11am it's been non stop mizzle/ drizzle.  Just back from walking round to local priority post box. Another sample for the react study, it seems once they get hold of you that's it.  I don't mind though.  It seems they are testing for covid and flu this time. OH is still waiting for latest antibody test for the twin study  seems to take them ages.
OH says the New York Times has a good online puzzle page, but I think you have to deal with American spelling tho.

I’ve seen it in situ … it really works well in the landscape. 😎

I got Wordle in 3 too, that's a relief after all your results!

I have done the weekly SM shop, fridge was pretty empty.

It's been a nice sunny day, frost this morning. I did an hour's weeding in the veg garden this afternoon, but it's rather wet.

Tummy ache is much better, but not quite gone.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
