Surely there must be some company making calendars in the EU,  seems there’s lots of opportunities for setting up new businesses in France.

The only calendars over here @Lyn seem to be ones which have pictures and small boxes that you can't write anything in, and the ones that don't have pictures still don't give you enough space. I suppose most people keep everything written on their phones these days.

Hi fellow Forkers, not sure what the temp is here but as it's snowing I'm assuming it's cold.  Hubby has lit the woodburner and we're nice and cosy in the sitting room.  I have some new Daniel Smith watercolours to play with so I don't mind not going out today.  This morning was spent loading all the spoilt food from the freezer into black bin liners and taking them out to the bin.  Not worth claiming on the insurance as we have a £100 excess and it would no doubt increase our premium if we did.
Enjoy whatever you are doing and stay warm and safe everyone.

Oooh mushroom soup, yes please @Penny_Forthem ... I've made some roasted squash and red pepper soup for OHs lunch flasks for the next few days ... that's just waiting to be pulverised in the liquidiser,  but I don't want to use that up ... mushroom would be just the ticket 😋 it's my favourite.

Who was it forgot to get their porridge oats?  Afraid OH is now fully engaged in the studio now, but we do have a big bag of porridge oats so could lend you a cupful until tomorrow if that's any help?

I've got the bread in the oven and the oxtail stew chuntering on the hob ... I'll put it in the oven and turn the heat down when I take the bread out ... and I've topped up the bird feeders and de-iced the bird bath ... now I'll have a sit down with a coffee ...

Oh, I hope there is some soup left for me, @Penny-Forthem, please?
It's very cold here, with sleet/snow and rain, nicely driven by a blustery wind.
@Dovefromabove, your meals sound so delicious, my tummy rumbles when I read your posts!
There is a big group of starlings who come visit my feeders for much of the day- I think it may be the same ones who have been coming since they were fledglings. It's lovely to see them, but they do eat a lot!
Enjoy your day all, whatever you are up to. Keep safe, keep warm.

That was me, @Dovefromabove, thanks for the offer but I’ll be ok until I get to the shop tomorrow. Just really annoyed at myself, I got enough milk, some blueberries, and even indulged in a small pot of cream to drizzle over the top. Just no porridge, and that was the number one item I’d gone in for.
Just having a coffee now ( with a homemade mince pie from the freezer ) Haven’t started on the tile moving yet. OH has been repositioning a desk, and revealed rather a horrid mess of cables behind it, plus what looks like a woodlouse graveyard. I was called in to mop the floor, that being a task he hasn’t mastered yet. He did a good job with the Dyson though!
