Just popping in to say Happy Birthday to @Dovefromabove . Wishing you long sunny days, beautiful flowers, successful vegetables, peace and the time to enjoy it all.
Oh and if you are ever passing this way just call in and we will go for a little spin - rattling and bouncing our way round the countryside!

    Busy day here.
Came home from visiting Hubby, painted one last coat on the conservatory wall and potted up my split cannas from 3 big plants to create 28 new plants.
    Devon.
  • I know I wished you HB elsewhere @Dovefromabove but hope you've had a lovely day.

Happy Big Birthday to @Dovefromabove 💐🎂🍾
    I hope you’ve had a lovely day ☺️

Sorry to hear your brother is unwell @Lizzie27

I’m shattered tonight as Dad was in hospital yesterday (home last night) so I’ve been checking on him/helping him with chores after work yesterday and today. So hard to see loved ones being unwell or frail. Thoughts to anyone who has been through it, or going through it.

Really ready for some signs of Spring now as had enough of the dark, cold and lack of gardening.

May the weekend bring you all something to give you a boost.

Hope your Dad’s soon feeling much better @AuntyRach 😊

Thank you all for your kind wishes. I’ve had a lovely day, finishing with a smashing Chinese meal from a very good takeaway.

However when I woke I had a niggle in my left tonsil …I ignored it as I considered it to be attention-seeking behaviour … however through the day it’s become more insistent and has spread upwards to my ear. Paracetamol has been necessary. To be honest I’m blaming @D0rdogne_Damsel  … I think she’s given her lurgy to me 😉

Anyway I’ve been sent to bed now, with the firm intention that I’ll be better in the morning. 🤞

Night night all … sleep tight 😴

I’ve missed your humour Punkdoc, 😂😂

we received 24 ml rain last evening and night and continuous lightning and thunder. One of the strikes must have hit somewhere on the house as there was a loud fizzle and the lights flickered on and off, but then no more. We couldn’t see any damage anywhere.   Makes you a bit nervous though. 😳
Cloudy today with no rain so far, but expect there’ll be more through the day.
