DD, also I didn’t explain that you go to “play as” which gives you the option of the number of pieces, but also the shape of the pieces. I use the one that is second from the left. 😳

    Hello all,
Hope you're having a nice day @Dovefromabove and being thoroughly indulged.
Sympathies DD, sounds really awful, hopefully the physio will help.

Didn't have a good night's sleep so feel a bit weary now. Probably worrying over my younger brother who was rushed into A&E yesterday, turning blue and couldn't breathe.
He's now under observation in the cardiac ward, on a drip. Fortunately he's got a super duper pacemaker fitted which will give him a kick if he needs it. Fingers crossed.

On a happier note, I've just had two Trevor White  potted roses delivered, in stout cardboard boxes and looking very good quality ones.  I've unpacked them and put them in our unheated porch for now.

We woke up to a very hard frost and very thick fog, couldn't even see the wood opposite. Thankfully it's now cleared up and we have sunshine again, although it's not as warm as yesterday. No gardening today!

I was in the middle of hemming curtains by hand in front of the TV, Father Brown just finished, when the log man came with 4 cubic metres of logs. I've stacked 8 barrows but the pile still looks big. Had to take my car out of the open barn so it will have to spend the night outside in the frost.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
