Oh @Busy-Lizzie - such a pain for you with no water.  I really hope your plumber turns up tomorrow.
Happy birthday @Mrs-B3-Southampton,-Hants - lovely to spend time with the family.
Really wishing I had got out in the garden today now.  But I ordered some seeds so maybe that counts.
Off to bed now with my book.

Happy birthday, @Mrs-B3-Southampton,-Hants! Enjoy the Matrix film!
@Lizzie27, we have just had to replace our en-suite shower, as the old one seized up after ten years. The new one is a Mira Platinum, with a remote control outside the shower, really handy. It runs off cold water from the tank in the loft, plus hot water from the storage tank in the airing cupboard ( via a Surrey Flange) and then the pump takes it up to pressure. We have really low water pressure, but the shower is really effective despite that.

    Morning everyone.

Just to bring you up to date, there are no reports of deaths on Tonga and reconnaissance planes have been sent from Oz and NZ to check how they are going over there.    No further comments about our coastline but I think all beaches have been closed to surfers because they think the waves will be too dangerous.

The plumber has arrived here. to try to fix the seal around our chimney which lets rain run down into the house when we get rain. 😡. He’s a nice young bloke who grew up in our village and his Grandma is the one who gave me the cuttings of the berries that we have been harvesting. 😁 All good.

The ex-tropical cyclone which has been rampaging over the top end has changed into a large rain cloud which is moving from the north of WA down through the centre (Uluru etc) and heading towards those of us along the south east  of the country, so lots of rain on the way for us.

I’m becoming obsessed with  weather lately.

A reporter on Fiji said they heard the booming and thought it was distance thunder, when it was actually the volcano. Wow!

  • Morning all,

    Very chilly again.

First morning I have felt human for nearly a week, thank goodness. I might get some cakes made today then.

Supposed to be running club this evening, but I don't want to go back too soon, equally, don't want to leave it too long.... I think I will see how I feel later in the day.

I hope you all have a good day, catch you later.

    Morning all.

Thank you didy, I have water but I don't have drainage. Using bowls. I hope a plumber comes today.

Glad you are feeling better @D@D0rdogne_Damsel.

I had trouble getting to sleep last night although I was tired. It's a full moon tonight, just looked it up.
