  • Morning all,

I hadn't heard of Anne McCaffrey @Pat E but I looked her up. Interesting.

I'm back to work today after a day off and am actually feeling weary about it. Strange, I go in virtually every day without thinking about it and now, after a day off it seems more difficult to get motivated. Good job I've my holiday to look forward to. Definitely counting the days now. I've even written a packing checklist on a spreadsheet. 😅

Wet and rainy today and tomorrow, but the rest of the week is looking brighter. I hope  you all have the same. 🌞

Morning DVD and DD. Glad you like my cloud.
DD, AnneMcCaffrey was a long term favourite of mine.  I’ve got all of her books. Her dragon series are wonderful. Sadly she recently passed away.
Isn't it always the way that when you slow down it’s hard to get started again. 😉

Morning everyone. Loved your latest cloud picture @PatE I see a little dog facing left with its tail curled up over its back. Some good news for me, daughter has tested negative for Covid but we will still continue with our precautions for a while yet just to be sure. And my new router arrived in the late post yesterday, all set up now so I will be able to post here with some sensible posts instead of rushing in with just my own news. Have a nice Sunday everyone.

Glad your daughter’s tested negative @AnnaB 😊 but yes, better safe than sorry.  Son’s housemate has tested positive so son is taking a great deal of care and of course he’s staying away from us for the time being.

    Hi all
very much starting to feel the black dog approaching, at least I am good at recognising it these days. No longer possible to get appointments with my psychiatrist, but am trusted to alter my own medications. May not be around for awhile, so look after yourselves.

Hugs to you @punkdoc … you’ve had a stressful winter … take care of yourself and remember we’re here and thinking of you. Brighter days are coming, even tho our gardens look grim at this time of year … have you got any snowdrops appearing yet?  You might remember that OH bought me some from Broadleigh for my January birthday some years ago … I’m waiting for them to peek through this sodden garden and brighten my very big (actually huge!!!) birthday at the end of the month … 😉

We'll be thinking of you punkdoc. Try not to leave it too long before you're back.
