    Hi all

    Good luck @W@WonkyWomble

Proper winters day, cold and sunny, had a little snow last night but did not stick.

    Good morning all.

Thank you @Simone_in_Wiltshire. I tried various things then my McAfee Anti Virus etc popped up and said something was off so I switched it back on, sure I didn't switch it off in the first place, and after that the GW site came back.

I hope you get it sorted @WonkyWomble. I bet you will, think of the lovely refund. My huge farmhouse with 7 bedrooms and a swimming pool (millstone round my neck) had an electricity bill less than yours.

Thanks @Uff I've just emailed Citizens advice for good measure giving them the outline and asking how to proceed but I'm calling Eon in a few minuets!!
How is the four legged Uff feeling? Any better?
Yes, he's just about there now thanks Wonky, it's taken about a week. God only knows what he ate.

Good luck @WonkyWomble - it sounds like a pretty clear cut case so hope it gets sorted easily.  I’m sure it will.  If not make sure you make the CEO’s of both companies aware (email is best)- it will speed up resolution no end - especially if they need to talk to one another to get to the bottom of it.  Details all available on their websites or with a quick google.

Glad to hear doggy @Uff is on the mend ❤️‍🩹.

Going to make a start on clearing the Christmas decs today.  Would normally wait til twelfth night, but am at college that day, so I will do most today but leave one room til Thursday.  I have a lot of decorations 😝

Morning all. 7C out when I woke, now dropped to 5C. Good luck, WonkyWomble. Pleased little Uff is mending. Hope you got some outdoor exercise while it was still warm, Punkdoc. Keep coping, Hostafan. (Gentle) hugs to all those recovering from broken ribs, ops and bashed knees. Keep safe and well. Decorations coming down today, and back to the DIY.
Question, how does one get other users’ names in a different colour in posts, with the @ attached? I have to type out longhand, ( although the iPad does offer me predictive text)

Thanks for the support folks,  I felt you there keeping me calm whilst listening to on hold music.
It looks like we have been paying off the old tenants debts.... its now being looked into by a lovely lady called Vanessa who has advised me to email a copy of our tenancy contract as proof..... fingers crossed  🤞

     :open_mouth:
As proof of what, exactly? When your tenancy started? Surely they were notified when you changed supplier that there was a new tenant?

I wonder if the fact that you and the former tenant had quite similar names may have caused a hiccough @WonkyWomble ?
I think it caused a mistaken identity glitch once before?

That has reminded me @WonkyWomble … when my parents moved us from Bedfordshire to the farm in Suffolk, despite us having a very unusual family name, the previous owner’s name was almost identical to ours … except we had an ‘e’ on the end … it caused all sorts of confusions with tradespeople etc at first, until Ma sorted them out. Think you need to ‘channel your Grandma’ 😠 😉
