    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Hope you (and everyone) have had a restful night @D0rdogne_Damsel 😊

In the mornings we check out the news websites asking ‘what’s the world doing today … I expect it’s being an idiot as usual’ … we’re always right and it seems to set the tone for the day 😉 that way our expectations are low and we’re rarely disappointed. 🤪

    Morning all,

    Good policy d-fab.

I'm very much a night owl with the tennis at the moment. Watching Nadal is very tiring :o

    Morning all.
    Another frosty sunny day.

Septic tank man is here. He says the tank was badly installed, the levels aren't right and it may have sunk a bit at one end causing damage to the entry pipe. It may need to be re-done, several thousand euros  :'(

A good friend is coming for lunch. Haven't seen her for ages, she hasn't seen this house yet. I used to go riding with her.

    Aaargghhhh! @Busy-Lizzie 😢
is there no other option?  Although sometimes it’s cheaper in the long run to just bite the bullet … 😠 what a PITA!!!

Enjoy catching up with your friend 😊

A dragon's head with open mouth in the second @Pat E, but imagination failing me for the first.
Hope the painkillers have kicked in @D0rdogne_Damsel but hoping more that you won't need them for much longer.
Ouch @Busy-Lizzie.  I'm sure you and your friend will have a good talk about it and you'll see your way as to what is to be done.
We received a wedding information from a gay couple of friends (about time - they've been together for ages!) that brought tears to my eyes - it said that when they were younger neither thought such a thing would be possible. Easy to forget that the law was changed only very recently.  Now - what to wear? And will OH still fit in his suit?

  • Morning everyone,  bit of an abrupt start, the gardener came to finish the French drain, just after 8, I wasn't expecting him till after 3pm. Anyway at least I won't be hanging about this afternoon waiting.  Another 8 bags of gravel!  Hope it works.
Hope all of you are OK today.
