@Busy-Lizzie, forgot to mention that I bought a porta-potty during first year of Covid for travelling when public toilets over here were mostly closed. Haven't had to use it yet but it's a bit better than a bucket! You might want to think about getting one in stock for emergency use.
I also forgot to mention earlier that the wooden bridge I traverse each day has been repaired - but only half of it! What kind of a job is that? Literally, halfway across the bridge, first half all new wood, second half old wood. The signs have gone as well, indicating to me that the Council aren't coming back to finish the job. I'll wait till next week, then give them a blast.
Will you chortle more if I say it's even got its own little pop-up tent!!!
When you read about some of the long, long queues on motorways sometimes, it does make you wonder how people manage. I think I read about a 6 hour wait up near Glasgow last week.
Don't I know it Lizzie. Aw bless has it, that's perfect. You'll have a vase of flowers in there in no time. I'll let you into a secret, getting stuck on the motorway in a traffic jam for hours is a real phobia of mine. Gawd the very thought of it . . .
So ‘convenient’ on car journeys … great to have in my bag when driving down to Cornwall … I know I can use it discreetly virtually anywhere … such a relief 😅

Had a friend in Brighton who, after an unfortunate situation sitting for hours in a jam on a motorway, never went on a car journey without her "she-wee" and, later on, a spork, but that was for a different problem.

Good work @Biglad! What a pain @Busy-Lizzie - hope it gets sorted tomorrow. A yarn my FIL used to tell us was about a little boy and a little girl camping out. The boy needed a pee and the little girl was fascinated - what a handy thing to bring on a picnic she said.
Morning everyone. I’ve read back and made mental notes about things I’d like to respond to. You know you’ve become old when you get to the end and can’t remember who you were going to respond to, 😡 darn it!
So, let’s see.
I’m glad you like my photos. Yesterday was certainly a very interesting day. We’ve got another storm predicted later today. Those lightning strikes and thunder were overwhelming. There was 13mm rain in the gauge this morning.
I can’t comment on the Wordl puzzles. Haven’t tried them, but I’ve discovered some senior crossword puzzles on line and have a bit of a go at the new one each day.
Hosta very glad that your grandson arrived safely. Hope Mum is ok.
I miss Punkdoc’s humour. He always makes me laugh. Hope he feels better soon.
Chicky I like your flower growing effort. I haven’t done that for years.
My brain has reached its limit now, so I’m sorry if I’ve missed anyone.

Sorry, I couldn't resist that, it isn't funny is it?
