Gosh that does look dreadful @Uff but in the scheme of things, at least you're safe and well. It was very blustery here which I hadn't expected but nothing like the gales up North.
Sympathies for all those with tooth problems, seem to have been a spate of them lately. I'm thankfull my new crown on a back molar seems to have sorted my 'niggle' even if it didn't do much for my bank balance.

Sorry for your misfortune @Uff. Lucky there was no damage to the house.

Thank goodness it wasn’t worse, @Uff. Hope the clematis will regrow?
@AnnaB, try some hot water mouth-washing to help relieve the abscess, and prop your head up a bit tonight.

    @Nanny Beach, perhaps he’s right?

@Uff so glad that you’re ok and that it’s ‘only’, as I’d hoped, the damage to phones and broadband that prevented you posting. Sad to see damage in the gardens tho … hopefully spring will work it’s magic very soon.

Hope @AnnaB and everyone with aches and pains gets a decent nights rest tonight … sleep tight … see you next month 😉

Oooh fireworks for Chinese New Year going off a little way away … over near the UEA … they don’t usually go on for very long.

    Night night all 🛌 🐑

Oh dear @Uff.  We were so much luckier than you here in E.Anglia - very little damage but I so hate the wind.  I find it very unsettling.
Glad that everyone who has been poorly is beginning to feel a bit better.
Night all - and see you on the February thread!

  • Glad the house is OK @Uff, & @punkdoc.  February RHS journal is reporting on the  damage to Bodnant Garden from storm Arwen. They are treating it as an opportunity to renew some areas.
I heard fireworks while at Yoga tonight wondered what they were for.

    Good morning early birds!!

A pinch and a punch for the first of the month.   I suppose @Dovefromabove  will be starting a new thread.
Up bright and early to get to the dentist's in good time.

@Ergates   for @Nanny Beach   's son ...and what happens to the water if we overflow?  At least being round we have  centrifuge!!!!

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

  • Morning @tui34, hope the dentist can relieve your pain. Good luck.

See you on the new thread. :)
