  • We have also been shopping.
That may not be surprising, but it is a first since his bowel cancer op 6 weeks ago.
    It wiped him out.
We only went to Aldi, but it's a start.
    Safe journey @chicky

  • Morning all,

I hope you have a lovely holiday @chicky, I know getting there takes some planning and stresses but all will be worth it.

Good to get out for a succesful shopping trip @Obelixx and seems you attacked your list with vigour.

Hello @punkdoc, good to see you.  :)

I have been up every four hours through the night, the painkillers just seem to hold the pain away for that small amount of time. Incredibly painful and uncomfortable, but I think, ever so slightly easing this morning. Keeping warm and as still as possible, just gentle mooching about, really not my usual style. Opportunity to get ahead with the never ending paperwork.

I have swapped my days off with the other chef, thank goodness she was able to switch. Unfortunately, I had planned a long bike ride with Charlie on Sunday, the weather forecast is lovely, but now I will have to work. Shame, we were really looking forward to that.  :(

@Penny_Forthem glad to hear your OH managed a trip out, small steps but very promising.  :)

Hope you get your bath in soon @Busy-Lizzie, everything just seems to take so long here in rural France.  :/

Off to do the Wordle now, had a little play with Absurdle yesterday, not something I could cope with on a normal day, but a good distraction whilst immobile.

    Good day to all.

    Morning all.

Must be today @Dovefromabove as yesterday chicky said "Lots of instructions being left with the Chicklets - who are house sitting.  One of them is giving us a lift to the airport early tomorrow."

The plumbers have arrived and the shower is being dismantled.
