Haha, you've obviously met him Dove. Didyw,he's opinionated, self absorbed. (Just like his Father)  they both fall in the s*** coming up smelling of roses.  His Father has married several women for money. (No, not my daughter, took her 12 years to see the light though)

@Nanny Beach ... he wants to belong to something, and no one else will have him  ;)

    Good morning all.
MY  laptop is refusing to accept that internet connection are available.
    I'm using Hubby's now.
    Can anyone suggest a remedy?

    Good morning all.

Another blustery day - not that cold 8°C but makes going outside unpleasant.  Blue sky, puffy clouds - we desperately need rain, though.

Well @Nanny Beach, he'd better not stray to far from home or he could fall into Van Diemen's Land!!

I'm so glad you are able to get over to Blighty @Busy-Lizzie   Yes, it's a bit of a trek, but a nice rest at the end.   I've just burnt a pan now!  Put on some endives rolled in ham to reheat and got too busy surfing on this site.  Damn and bother!!!  Ariel, bicarbonate of soda and Javel to the ready!!!   It's a pan that I don't scratch - I clean it with a sponge.. ... oh dear!

Lunch is ready and it really is hot!!

    Enjoy your day everyone !!

Hello all, change in the weather today, gone is the frost and fog replaced by breezy with sunny spells.
Had to go to the Pharmacy this morning....always a long queue in there and then on to a small Carrefour to pick up some bits, it's the only place I can find Conference pears all the others here are very gritty tasting, this is not a pear growing region.
I hope all those with wind damage are ok.
  • @Hostafan1 it's not something simple like your laptop being in airplane mode?
I'm just taking a breather from sorting out the gory glory hole under the stairs. Tip trip this afternoon.

    Genius !
You reminded me there's a slidy Wireless button on the front edge. I must have moved to to " off " without realising it.
    Thank you .
