I've met a few from here, all lovely people, and it was nice to meet IRL as it were. Saying that, sometimes after having a moan/rant on here I do hope people that really do know me don't get to see certain posts. Something to be said for anominity. 😅
I've had a 'normal' Saturday for a change. Shopping in town, got all our ski gear, lunch, a mooch about and then coffee, skipped the cake because I'm trying to be good. A bit of housework, nothing too strenuous, just faffed around with a feather duster and then created a home made pizza, just about to come out of the oven. Film and feet up to follow. 😁
Sunday lunch to cook for paying customers tomorrow though. And then the dreaded paperwork...
I hope you all enjoy a nice evening with friends and family real or virtual.

Good evening all, you like have been chatty and busy! First time I've had a chance to look in here today. Went to get my new sewing machine at lunchtime. Unfortunately still in the box as I had a customers ironing to do today. Still haven't finished the ironing but dinner needed making. There is now 1 bacon and asparagus quiche in the oven and 1 baby spinach and St agur quiche in with it. Serving with chips and coleslaw.... gonna be a bit late but we don't normally eat until 8pm anyway. It will be worth it!!
That was a lovely day - hope we can do something similar this year. While it's cold and wet maybe we could do coffee with a sausage roll and / or cake at the A140 farm shop Dove and I were talking about a few weeks ago?

Just done Saturday's Wordle in 3 - tah dah! Only one letter right and in the wrong place on try 1, then a lucky guess gave me all the last 4 correct on the 2nd guess. Guessing the 1st letter was pretty easy after that. I quite like this new game. Thanks @chicky🙂

I've just turned down a trip to Kent with my dear friends from uni. I just can't face the journey at the moment, much as I would love to see them. Another of us, who lives in Lincs. is the same. I'm very much into hunkering down at the moment.
Feeling a little less out of sorts having now spoken to a couple of people, one of whom was at the Zoom meeting yesterday, who are of the same mind as me and not willing to sweep away some of the more traditional aspects of our town in the name of looking more modern. It's not just me who is out of step.
Good morning all … 😊 ☕️ Chilly out there brrr 🥶 Love the cloud @Pat E … I can see a flying embodiment of the west wind 💨 I might find time to sort out all my seed stash today … perhaps …
