Happy Birthday @raisingirl  and Jenny too! (Even if it's not her birthday!)
My late OH has his birthday this month too.

… There seems to be quite a lot of birthdays this month….

Well, I put that down to the sap rising in April 😉

Oh, I thought that was due to the extra tax you could get!

I had friends who were a farming couple … they had five children all born in March/April … they blamed hay-making … ‘who can resist a hay meadow?’ they said. 😉

Our birthdays were around June and Mum used to say they were spring babies. I was puzzled until I realised that she was talking about conception time (😳🤭).

While on that subject, I’m not sure what to think about this morning’s cloud. 🙄

However, the next one would be more acceptable I think.

I’ve decided to ring Regina’s home phone and will probably get her aged Mother. I will explain about Hubby’s situation and ask her to tell Regina that we don’t want her to visit. Hmmm,  we’ll see how that goes.

Oops. Hubby doesn’t want me to ring her Mother and create a problem in the village .  Oh well, shrugs shoulders, we will just have to see.

Can you drop a note in her letter box @Pat E.

It is grey again but a teeny bit warmer and there are shades of grey and movement instead of just a blanket.  heading in the right direction then.

    Have a good day all.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Maybe a third party could explain how worried you are about the risk @Pat E … they could say that you’ve not said anything because you don’t want to upset her, but that it’s giving you stress and sleepless nights. Surely she’d get the message from that?!

😢 I’ve just had a catastrophe with a cup of coffee and a new white cotton duvet cover. I’ve taken the cover off, sponged the duvet and put it over the radiator and put the affected part of the cover to soak in the washbasin … OH will help me change the rest of the bedding when he’s had his porridge … at least it’s Monday so I would normally change it today anyway, but I was going to leave it just this once as I’m still a bit weak (hence the spillage 🙄).

    Not seen @uff since Friday … hope she’s not storm-damaged 🤞
