I loved the item on snipe on Winterwatch @Dovefromabove - amazing bills they have!
That does sound like tension @D0rdogne_Damsel.  Easily done @Allotment Boy. But they should taste amazing once you've gone back and got your parsnips.  They are so much better once they've had a frost on them aren't they?
We're off to see Tosca tonight at the local theatre.  It is a recording of a live performance by the Royal Opera House in December last year - which means it has the benefit of subtitles!  Long though. And our guests have sent their (profuse) apologies.  So I've got 2 spare tickets for our little box.

Oh @didyw I wish I was in Norfolk, we'd have bought your spare tickets like a shot. Tosca is one of my favourites and I've seen it in real life at Covent Garden, years ago though. I hope you have a lovely evening.

Such a shame @Busy-Lizzie - it would have been lovely to share a box with you watching Tosca!  Jealous of you seeing it at Covent Garden.  But we are so lucky to have live relay performances at our little theatre from time to time.  Madama Butterfly had me almost having to be helped out of the theatre I was weeping so much!

    Good afternoon to you all!

Same weather here @Dovefromabove  Cloudy and very cold this morning, but lots of puffy clouds and sunshine this afternoon.  That'll do!

@Obelixx   Your weather sounds cold and wet.  Still, you have plenty to do inside.

@D0rdogne_Damsel  I hope your neck is feeling a bit better by now.  Maybe doing the accounts at a funny angle and there was a draught from somewhere?  It does sound somewhat like tension and stress.  Same feelings re employees as @Busy-Lizzie  When they start asking how long the holidays are - straight out the door!!  You answered his/her questions truthfully - she either likes it or lumps it.

@didyw   We have tickets for a live relay performance early February with The Marriage of Figaro.  Looking forward to that, because many many.... many moons ago, we put on that performance when I was at school.  I was in the "townspeople" chorus!  Enjoy Tosca!

Hello  @punkdoc  I hope the sunny weather continues to boost your spirits.

Quiet days - still have sowed the peas.  Good intentions though!!  (Positive thinking.)

Have a pleasant afternoon and evening.

I've seen both Tosca and Madama Butterfly at ROH. A treat indeed.
Hugs to everyone who needs one.
