You’d better keep looking @Hostafan1 you  might find the diamond studded cuff links you bought yourself, and the expensive perfume you bought for me 🤪

Hubby had a pair of Sapphire studded cuff links made for me for my 50th. They're in the safe.

I've just bagged up 8 pairs of cotton socks to go to the charity ship. They've shrunk so much in the wash I can't wear them any more and they're all less than 1 yr old I think.

What a beautiful present @Hostafan1, I love sapphires.

He took me to the jeweller and he tipped a bag of sapphires onto the counter and I had to pick 2, the same size and the same colour. Not as easy as it sounds.

@Hostafan1, I'm sure you're right. That's why my OH suggested he give me the earrings to match the pendant he gave me for our 25th WA - so that the colour matched. They were blue topaz's though, not sapphires. My first engagement ring has beautiful sapphires from Ceylon in it but of course I don't wear it any more. I plan to give it to my granddaughter when she's 18.

I had G a pair with amethysts when he was 50. He was going through a phase for Hugo Boss double cuff striped shirts in purples / mauves / whites at the time.

    Very smooth......

My OH liked double cuff shirts at one time but they're a right faff trying to get some cufflinks done up in a hurry. Same with a proper black bow tie, used to take ages for him to get dressed - me, 10 mins max including full slap.
