Evening Everyone, a good day of sorting outdoors and itโ€™s looking more presentable now,
LB Sorry to hear you were rained off again, it is a good opportunity to have a sort out though when the weather stops play,ย
Rubee Glad you are enjoying the book, it sounds very interesting to learn about the sacrifices these women made,
Topbird Hope Oliver allowed you to get on after he had received the fuss he was looking for of course ๐Ÿค—
Dove I hope the test results are all clear for you & OH and you can visit MiL tomorrow ๐Ÿคž
Bluebells Glad you are able to access online this way and pleased to hear Alfie had a better night I hope you did too,ย
Hazel Sorry to hear the unit has presented more problems, hopefully your OH can find a way to secure it to the wall that he is happy with.ย
Busy That does not sound like an easily accessible loft I wouldnโ€™t be keen on crawling around in a cobwebby environment, transporting the items down in carrier bags was a good idea.ย
Biglad That was a nice lot of plants to gain from a ยฃ5 spend, Iโ€™m sure your OH wonโ€™t be too unhappy about that,ย
Signing off early tonight, have a lovely evening all see you tomorrow.ย

    Evening all.
Biglad, that was a bargain buy but you will have some explaining to do to your OH. Monty always extols the buying of perennials in a reasonable pot size and then splitting the plant before you put it out into the garden. 3/4 for the price of one.
Chive, I could have canoed down the Cres today. Are you on countdown for small people duties? Have a good night.

OH has got home from work and disappeared out again without noticing the large increase in the houseplant population. I might be in the clear until tomorrow :D No idea what to do with that many but had to split it because I could ;)ย

Hi folks, a lovely morning here and then torrential rain this afternoon.ย  I'm starting to get itchy to get in the garden but it's another 4 weeks till I can get going.ย  Hubby managed to go down the cellar today and bring up the empty boxes for the decorations.ย  I'm going to do a bit each day rather than all at once, which is my normal approach.ย  I have taken the baubles off the tree and packed away the decorations off the fireplace.ย  Tomorrow if I'm OK we will tackle the tree lights and take the tree down.ย  Might have to wait for some help to get the boxes back down the cellar and will definitely have to wait to get the furniture moved back.

Biglad, you do realise that you could just be kidding yourself and your OH has noticed the new houseplants.
Yes Yvie, definitely take it easy taking down dekkies. A bit at a time has been my plan this season. I must try NOT to forget anything this time. I have two battery operated snow globe type candles that are going to be recycled because they just gobble up batteries. It is probably the tiny motors that drive the rotating spinners that scatter the 'snow', creating a lovely effect but too expensive to keep running. They can go to the Charity Shop (next October SGL! )

Not likely @Ladybird4 - she's the kind of observant person that can't find her glasses until somebody tells her that they're on her head :D

Well done to your OH, @Songbird-1 ย bet the shelves look lovely now though.
I've taken a few Christmas decks down too today, still have the tree up and a few other bits and bobs.
@Busy-Lizzie be careful shuffling in the loft, good idea to decent things in bags to bring down though.
@Biglad that's a great bargain for all those little plants. Do hope you can move them before OH finds them ๐Ÿ˜‰
Sorry minds gone blank, really tired again tonight.ย
Night night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreams.

    Good morning all.

Well done @Songbird-1 and OH. Sounded a nightmare putting up that bookcase but thank goodness it's done now.

I won't shuffle in the loft today, I must unpack the bags that I brought down. Also need to go to the SM, nearly out of coffeeย  :o
