    Good Morning Hazel & Busy,
Oh crumbs Hazel thatโ€™s even worse! Just how many could now be affected by attending that match ๐Ÿ™€ Good luck with the unit, hope it all goes to plan,ย
Busy I remember Sundays being a day of rest, no shops open, pubs closing after lunchtime, it was family time. Would be nice to have that back, hope you enjoy your day,ย
SGL ๐Ÿ˜€ Iโ€™m sure you will remember to do that, we get all the fun jobs ๐Ÿ˜‚

Morning all - and a nice bright and sunny one it is too๐Ÿ™‚ I could be minded to do an hour outside today...

SGL - I saw your late night posting last night and it also made me chuckle when I saw your Saturday / Sunday confusion.ย
I'm also hoping a 'relaviearing day' is a nice one (relaxing perhaps) ๐Ÿฅณย

Debs - I have a cupboard well stocked with pickles, chutneys etc which I made when growing lots of fruit and veg and which have never been opened. Some of them must be 5 or 6 years old. I think the time might have come to accept that my efforts should go in the bin....
The only homemade preserves we always use are spicy apple chutney, quince jelly, sweet pickled cougettes and pickled onions. Green tomato chutney, jam, marmalade etc are a waste of effort.

Hazel - good luck with the DIY I wouldn't fancy supporting a heavy unit either.

Right - best get on. Next door's cat has turned up for his daily cuddle. It has taken ages to type this post because he doesn't approve of an iPad getting in the way of him receiving my full attention. Difficult to type with a cat headbutting your arm or device every 30 seconds.๐Ÿ˜

Hello all ... goodness me, I've missed a lot of bluebells ... I'm a bit confused ... does Rosie have an alter ego? ... I expect it'll all come out in the wash/rain ;)ย

We've got bright sunshine with intermittent heavy showers here ... I've got some jumpers in the wash and am just about to make the filling for a smoked salmon quiche to take to MIL's tomorrow (tests permitting) ... I made the pastry case yesterday.ย  ย Now both the Archers and my coffee are finished I'd better get a move on ...ย

Have a lovely day all ...ย

Rain has stopped play! Driven indoors so may continue the assault on the wardrobe.
Chive it would definitely just be a paddle for me. I am not brave enough to do the full immersion bit in the middle of winter in this country.
Busy, how is your cold? Hope that you have nearly shaken if off now.
Hazel, be careful hanging that shelving unit - we don't want you tweaking any muscles this early in the year. Hope it all goes successfully.
T'Bird, re the visitor, tell me about it! Lily is a complete pain (sometimes) as if she feels she is not getting enough attention, she will actually walk across my laptop keyboard, even sitting down on it, creating such interesting messages that only the female spies in Ruby's books would find fascinating.

My cold is a lot better, thanks LB, but not completely gone yet.

Morning Dove (you weren't there when I posted before), Busy and RosieBB.
Good to hear the cold is being defeated Busy.
RosieBB - just a little bit of a misunderstanding but all is well now. How is Alfie today? Lily has got a bit of a snuffle but that is not unusual for her.
T'Bird - Lily was delighted to hear from Oliver and sent this:

Don't you have to love them though?!
