Hazel, I heard that on the news today about pupils wearing masks in school but I did wince at the 'all the time' that was mentioned. I certainly would not want to wear a mask all schoolday long. I have no answers but hope they modify that suggestion. I also smiled wryly at all the tests suggested as pupils have discovered that dipping their swabs in cola or orange juice gives a positive result, thus giving them time off school. Very careful monitoring will be needed.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
I've already looked up how to cook up Aloe Vera oil, d-fab. Any plants that I can't gift or don't survive will become an experiment. What has become of me?
Good heavens @Ante30, at first I thought it was a glacier!
I haven't done anything yet apart from light the stove and watch The Railway Children. When I last saw it I missed the beginning. I came back from my shower expecting to see the News on Breakfast TV but that had finished early and The Railway Children was starting. Couldn't stop watching it.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@Biglad whenever I burn myself cooking I take an aloe Vera leaf and slice the bottom end on a slant so thereβs a bigger surface area, and wipe it over the burn β¦ fantastic relief and heals quickly. πΒ

SGL, sorry to hear that you had rubbish night. Try to rest during the day.
LB, we must have mask all the time we are in the school. Pupils also.Β They can't go out during the break, no socializing with other departments and so on. It's quite hard, especially for them.
Hazel, they were probably shoppers hoping to find lots of bargains. Glad that you got what you wanted to fill the space in the shelving. Is it coloured or plain?
My next door neighbour has just been round. He has been chain sawing the ivy from our fence and to be honest that was the only thing holding the fence up. He is going to replace one panel at a time for me bless him as it is my fence. He told me that he would do it as he has time on his hands. I will pay him for everything as he is saving me getting a fencing company on the job.

That sounds similar to the state of my infamous back fence @Ladybird4 - the end panels were definitely more ivy than fence when I removed them. Sounds like you've got a nice biglad next door Β
Good afternoon everyone . Been having problems with the Β router . I havenβt read back .I hope everyone is ok . Very tired after a lot of messing about today .See you later .
