Good Morning Debs, Ante, LB, Dove, SGL & Rubee and all to follow, Debs Life does get you down more sometimes, these dark days don’t help your well being and it’s all doom & gloom everywhere you turn. You have a lot to contend with, hope things start to look brighter soon take care 💐
@Ante30 I am so sorry to hear what happened to your beloved cat and what an awful discovery on your return home. It is terribly upsetting to lose a pet in this way, unfortunately I know this all too well. Sending you my best wishes x
A frosty looking start here today, a hot cuppa is calling ☕️
Good morning all. Ante in so sorry to hear your news of your lovely cat. Which will have been much loved and had a good life with you. I'm sorry to hear this. Do take care of yourself and special hugs for your pet family.
I am really sorry to hear about your poor cat @Ante30. Sending hugs Hugs too for @debs64. I hope your daughter will get well soon.
It was -4° this morning, big white frost. Sun is out trying to melt it. I'd left the new curtain rails in the car on the back seat. The door was frozen, couldn't open it, but the sun was on the other side so I managed that one although it was still a bit stuck.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hi folks, Hugs for @debs64 and @Ante30 We were devastated when our first dog died it was like losing a member of the family. Spent the morning emptying the freezer. Everything is ruined, it was relatively full, and as we are not sure when the defrost started it's not safe to eat any of the food. We wont be making a claim as we have £100 excess and any claim will no doubt put up the premiums. Have a new one being delivered on Tuesday. It's snowing here and we have lit the wood burner again. Wont be venturing out today but I don't mind as I have some lovely new Daniel Smith Watercolours to play with. Stay safe and warm everyone.
It's raining Ice crystals and crispy underfoot, not a day to stay out. LB and Chive I hope Lily and Nel Will be keeping warm and so to stay cosy. I visited and then back to give Alfie his treats. Hazel cold here too, it's forecast snow.
It was snowing here this morning. Cars were struggling to get up the hill (our street has never been treated with salt by the council as it isn't a main road and doesn't lead anywhere).
The refuse collection truck has just been past though. They would've given it a miss if it hadn't already started to melt. The 'proper' snowfall is forecast for tomorrow
Evening Everyone, Hazel I’m sorry to hear you had router trouble yesterday, shame you can’t give it a good thwack to get it working like we used to with some appliances 😖 Busy Gosh it must have been freezing to jam your car door, lucky you was able to access your curtain pole from the other side…that must have been a very cold pole too 🥶 LB I hope you’ve had a nice time with bestie today if you’ve been able to go, hope the roads were not too bad, Yvie Sorry to hear that you’ve lost the contents of your freezer, but as you say better safe than sorry. Hope you can manage in the meantime until the new one arrives, Bluebells As always Nel has the front row position to the fire 😊 Biglad It must make access very difficult for all the residents when it snows, Starting to rain here & very cold so that’s me in for the night. Have a nice evening everyone.
