Now we know why the water is always gone from the saucer behind the house. Well, Mum evidently, but junior still head first in the pouch.

Good to have the sleep @Hostafan1 and I rather doubt hubby will notice if you visit early or later.

Love your photo @Pat E.  I'd always thought Joey would have his or her head up and peeking over the pouch.  Must be pretty uncomfortable for mum when they're that big though.

Chilly start today.   OH was up and out before dawn to go and play golf somewhere so I got to let the chooks out.   They are so funny in the mornings - some a bit bleary but others raring to go and all wanting their morning treats.

Sewing for me this morning and then some bulb planting this pm when it's a bit warmer.

    Hope everyone gets some sunshine.

Hi Obelixx. Glad you liked it. Hubby had the wildlife camera set up there, hence the early morning shot. It was before 6am. I realised after I put the photo on that I should have written that she (they)are wallabies, not Roos. That Joey is rather large. I’m surprised she hadn’t kicked it out by now. 🙄😁

    Hi all

Thanks @Obelixx, the new neighbours are working out fine, becoming a much more pleasant place to live again.

    Lovely picture @Pat E

That's very good to hear @punkdoc .... hopefully that'll help you cope with all the other 'stuff' ((hugs))

I'm sure you needed the rest @hostafan :)

OH is doing DIY stuff IN THE KITCHEN 😵   (well, in the walk in cupboard). There's sheets of plastic hanging around the place keeping the dust in manageable places and I'm only allowed in there to make coffee ... I've done the paperwork I need to do prior to my trip to see @WonkyWomble when we'll go through her tax stuff together, and I've done the ir :oning ... OH is going in and out of the back door and the studio door so doing gardening stuff would impede his progress (and I don't want to do that ... this needs to be finished ASAP) so I shall noodle on here with you lot and knit and may even investigate the inner depths of daytime tv ................ 😨

Morning all.  Glad your new neighbours are better than your old ones @punkdoc.
Gotta get ready for a meeting with the town and district council reps about a small grant our town is being awarded to improve our visitor offering (I'm representing the business association). We've just about agreed what it should be spent on.  The person from District, who holds the purse strings, also has some other news.  If it's what I think it is, and she said I would be pleased, I'm very excited about that.  More later...
