Sure is, Lyn. They have built a new visitor centre and a cafe, plus a shop and posh new toilets. Very popular this morning, lots of families in for breakfast. It’s a favourite haunt of ours. Most visitors tend to stay near the centre, but we tend to head off round the fields which are often empty.

I haven’t been for years, it’s quite a way from here,  and busy roads.
Just found a photo of my son and me 53 years ago!

@BenCotto - our local postman and delivery people are used to seeing me answer the door in my nightie now.  I even had a chat with the neighbour who thought I was wearing a sundress in the summer but it was in fact a nightie as I am also guilty of wandering around the garden before getting properly dressed.  What happens is that I get caught up in answering emails, sorting out admin etc and before you know it - its after 11 and I'm still not dressed. But unless I have an early meeting I tend to be a late riser and my OH is even worse.  His career as a musician meant he kept late nights and he hasn't got out of that habit.
I wish I was as efficient as Nanny Beach and Dove but I'm just not.
Edited to add: thanks @Obelixx for your suggestion of Beth Chatto's book - it rang a bell so I scoured my shelves and I already have it! Hurrah!

Morning all well afternoon here! Cool and cloudy again today. Feeling rather low today as I had a very bad nose bleed yesterday, one week after having nose cauterized, so much for that, so back to the drawing board. Also heard yesterday that my other BIL had died, it was expected but none the less very sad, so that is two that I have lost this year.
On a brighter note I have ordered a Dehydrator as we have so many chillies I thought I would dry them and crush for chilli flakes.
Hope all is well with everyone, have a lovely day and catch you later.

Efficient?  Moi?  Don't confuse me being up and posting with me being awake @didyw ;)

Before I retired I was well known on this board for wandering around the garden in my pjs and purple dressing gown at 5am (or before) as it was the only time I saw the garden before I went to work.  I can function perfectly well early in the morning without actually being awake.  🥱 ☕☕☕

I’m pleased to hear all this, we thought we might be the only slobs around😀
It seems early  typing doesn’t mean early rising.

    Afternoon all.

    Hiya @Pat E.

Just home from visiting Hubby. One of the tumours in his groin is now visible. It looks like there's a cherry under the skin. I suspect it's causing more pain than he's admitting to.

On a plus note, it's a lovely, fairly sunny day here and I'm heading into the garden.

    Hello all.

Hugs for @floralies and I hope your nose has settled down.

@BenCotto, I'm just the same, not a morning person. I have coffee in bed and read until after 9am. Sometimes post here when waiting for the kettle to boil. Then I do very little for most of the morning. I get going in the afternoon. I hate winter time and dark evenings, just when I'm in full swing!

Been to church, they have started having coffee and biscuits again, post Covid, so at last I was able to meet some local people. French Covid cases are very low now.
