@Fire my MW is quite healthy, no BS.

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    Hi everyone..

I'm just going right O/T for the moment to let you know, in case you might be interested but not aware of this, but when you download the new Windows 11, it comes with a WhatsApp already installed, which means that if you use WhatsApp a lot, and most people do, then you can also use it to send text messages via the laptop pc instead of using the mobile phone device... You just have to sync the two by scanning a bar code on screen... very easy.

Windows 11 took a little time to download and install but not too long... no problems so far..   I know some people are cautious of these things..

You can do this on any Mac too - it's much easier. I never use a phone for messaging (or GW). The app for any desktop, tablet etc is free.

Not just on a Mac or a Windows11 machine, the link provided by @Fire will work on any browser.

Windows 11 have impossible system requirements... And I am not in a mood for buying a new computer for at least another year or two.

@Nollie Marie Pavie doing ok. Shutting down for winter, losing leaves, but also has some late flowers.

My tulip pot is completely flooded with water despite having emptied it and replanted the whole thing. I don't think it was anything to do with the way I covered the drainage hole now...I think the compost was just so over saturated with water that it's become one impervious mass. I did add lots of sand to it but it obviously just didn't mix.

They say that a load of grit is much better than sand for draining.

Is a 'tulip pot'  a pot full of tulip bulbs?

Yes, I think the problem was that the compost came out of the bag completely sodden, and although I did my best to mix it up, it probably just had too much water in it to start with. I mixed in lots of gravel and sharp sand but it didn’t help.

Ill need to either combine it with something that’s bone dry - like my bucket of sandy garden soil from the shed - or get a new bag of compost from somewhere.

Both of these done at the same time with the same stuff. Blue actually had less sand and grit added but I did add some scoops of the dry garden soil with it which was obviously enough to open it up.
