According to my rose log I planted an Indigo in September, which I’ve completely forgotten about until you just mentioned yours Marlorena, and I can’t for the life of me remember where I planted it 😦 That’s bad isn’t it 😬

I have that @Omori I feel terrible. In my log I have several Etoile D'H that I have no idea about. Very odd.

Maybe instead of sleep walking we have a rare condition where we sleep rose-purchase and sleep rose-plant 😆 @Fire

My garden isn't exactly big enough for cat-swinging. If I had acres of parkland, I could understand it. I have big tags now for each rose and I'm keeping close tabs and lists. I don't intend for it to happen again. As I have a number of similar red climbers, I still get confused as to which is which. It needs sorting. 🙄

Ghislaine will be going in at the front this weekend - a terrible spot, but hopefully she will cope. And some Edith Cavell squeezed in at the back between planters.

I meant to say, a while ago I mentioned about asking for a separate Rose forum so I contacted Daniel, the Editor at GW, and I'm sorry to say the answer was 'No'...  forums require a lot of maintenance and they are not able to open another for roses...  but if need be we should spill out onto the 'Plants' forum with other rose topics, if we so wish..

    Sorry...

I've just been looking at Rumwood's, they have a nice selection... I rather fancy 'Saphir', a Tantau modern..
    I have that one.

I had Indigo in my previous garden and loved it.  I thought I'd brought a rooted cutting with me but it turned out that I had mixed them up and brought two Rose de Rescht cuttings instead.  For me it started flowering later than some, but stayed flowering almost continually after that.  Good scent to my nose and beautiful colouring.  Individual blooms did not last long but that didn't matter because there were so many.  It will be interesting to hear how it does for you @Marlorena
