@cooldoc Both Indigo and RDR have a lovely scent - slightly different to each other to my nose. Flower forms, growth habit and colour are different to each other also. I’ll see if I can find photos over the weekend.
I’m glad I cancelled my tcl order tho, apart from pot pets, the other roses were ill-advised additions to the hot border from hell where roses go to die, plus climbers/ramblers for a new fedge project. The ground for the latter turned out to be mainly solid rock!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
The instructions for my Rambling Rosie standard (Style Roses) specify that I need to keep it protected from frost in the first season, otherwise I will lose the warranty in case the rose fails. I thought this was strange. Was anyone else advice to do the same?
I clearly have been doing wrong all these years and will certainly be dunking my overnight misunderstanded roses in a vat of chocolate praline in future - now that I would taste! I dread to think what kind of google translated queries I have been sending to French suppliers but hopefully it’s kept them entertained.

..embraketing is a word I'd like to use, if I only knew what it meant..
