@punkdoc - Does MSF have a system for recording poisoning events like yours? I wondered if they were able to warn or advise colleagues who were similarly exposed.
@D0rdogne_Damsel did I not send you a recipe for chocolate carrot cake with a chocolate ganache topping? Chocolate beetroot? Coconut rough cake? Banana and walnut? Ginger and marmalade? Parkin for November 5th? No creamy fillings or icings. Dorest apple cake on the BBC Good Food site looks good too.
Dry here but cool at 19C and clouding over. I've been swapping out all my sleeveless summer tops for warmer ones. Having lost 10 kilos I now have a large pile of short-sleeved t-shirts for the Red Cross bag.

I know you thought some time ago your problem was MSF work related and I'm sorry that's been confirmed. As someone else wisely said, now to figure out what you can do and how to make the best of every day. Huge hugs for Moira and a kick up the pants for you form me too.

No recipe, but I did have a slice of courgette and avocado cake last week, and it was very yummy. Good cake recipes on the Waitrose website. Have always used butter for baking and pastry making. However, I did try making pastry with the President unsalted softer butter that we use on toast etc, and it doesn’t really work! Also made shortcrust pastry with an egg I needed it. That was really good! However, I’m a bit lazy now, and just buy ready made pastry.
