@Punkdoc, I can only echo what the others have said, my very best wishes to you and Moira for the life ahead. More time for gardening (lightly) perhaps and also perhaps writing a book about your many interesting experiences abroad.

Also @SamBevington, good luck for tomorrow - go for it!

    Evening.

I can’t match the sensitive comments made to you @punkdoc as my overriding sentiment is ‘that sucks’. Go grab all those opportunities for delicious meals, drinks with friends and loved ones, enjoying your garden and seeing the seasons change. We all should.

Good luck @SamBevington - sounds like a fantastic job!

Well we had a very blustery night last night. Woke several times so shattered this morning. I had taken some of my house plants outside for the last week or so to give them some light and water before the gloomy days, but didn’t realise strong winds were forecast, so some had a little lie down too - oops!

    Take care all.

    Good morning to you.

Busy last few days - lots going on.  Seems there is much news to catch up on.

@punkdoc  Frightening news for you.  Everyone has said wonderful things to help you move forward - Kia Kaha :  stay strong.

@Busy-Lizzie   Lovely photos.  Used to belong to an association that accompanied sick people to Lourdes.  Would bring back some water from the spring and use it to cure colds and sneezes in winter!!!!  Just a teaspoonful at a time!!  :o

I hope everyone has an enjoyable day today.  Warm here still.  Indian summer.

Good morning all from a slightly damp but still absolutely gorgeous St Ives 😊 ☕️

How lovely, Dove! Only just woken up, 8 am. We’ve definitely started to move into winter hibernation mode. Your photo has rather tempted me to consider a trip to the seafront. We were planning instead on breakfast at the farm shop, then a quick once round the Exeter Ikea for some bits and pieces. What we should do is stay home and get some jobs done, but where is the fun in that?
  • No fun in that at all @Ergates … get thee to the seaside 😎
