  • @punkdoc I think you can see from the outpouring here how highly respected and cared for you are and chances are that Moira is quite find of you too!๐Ÿ˜‰ it's sh#t but not necessarily going to get worse so time to invent your version of normal for you and tailor the world to suit it,ย  you've done enough sacrificing for others,ย  it's everyone else's turn. Sending strength and love to you both xx

A difficult day @punkdoc - sending much love and positive vibes. ย The possibility of stabilisation is very encouraging - but it will take time to be able to celebrate your new normal. ย Give yourself that time. ย Lots of music and garden ambles need to be your new prescription. ย You have a beautiful space there to enjoy, and wide and varied interests that are all waiting there to be pursued in time. ย

My Mum had an incurable disease. ย They told her it was all about living with it. ย So she went ahead and packed a whole lot of loving and living into the years she had left to her (and there were quite a few). Iโ€™m confident you will do the same.

    Thank you.
Some really kind comments, but also very thought provoking. I am never disappointed by the wisdom shown by so many on here, your comments will help.
As Dave Allen would say, May your God go with you.

  • After the trauma of Furlough and feeling of worthlessness through redundancy, the joy of full time gardening leaves me this evening nervous but excited over a job interview tomorrow. I have been in post 6 months at the University on a 12 month contract, tomorrow's opportunity is to lead a new team of 12 to be recruited.ย  Wish me luck, double the salary so I may be able to afford a gardener if all goes wellย  :)๐Ÿ˜€
