  • And thinking of Moira too … she’s had a tough couple of years ((hugs)).

Yes, you are right @Dovefromabove. As you know she is a bit younger than me and in her prime. I did suggest a while ago that she should consider leaving me, if things got worse.
Luckily, so far, she seems to think that is a bad idea.

I think there’s a strong probability that she loves you @punkdoc you great plonker. 🙄   Of course she’s not going to leave you just cos you’re poorly.  Any more than my OH is going to leave me ‘cos my knee keeps giving way and makes me hobble. Anyway, the gap keeps getting smaller, haven’t you noticed?  I used to be twice his age now I’m only 19 years older than him. They’re catching us up 😂 😉 ((hugs))

  • @punkdoc , How ironic that the damage was done while helping others.  Hopefully things don't progress in the wrong direction.  If positive thoughts help, you and Moira have all we can give.

Just because you aren’t well, doesn’t mean you should be excused a good kick up the arse for saying things like that! I hope Moira has already obliged.

No guarantee it will get better, but not necessarily get worse? There is hope there. Were you having any side effects from the treatment you were on? Will you at least get some relief from those? Wishing all the best for you.

I'm sorry @punkdoc that your generosity and ability have led you here. I hope that the prognosis that at least it's not a deteriorating condition proves correct and that consequently you can find coping strategies. Although your life may not be as it was, different isn't always less. You have my, and many others, enduring admiration and gratitude for the work that you have done. I know that is no compensation for what you have lost.
((hugs)) light and love to you and to Moira
