That’s a gold nugget in the river of hurt @Hostafan1 - really lovely.
Had a busy week what with puppy visits and helping Dad with appointments and a few jobs etc. GP still hasn’t seen him despite a foot infection. I am not quite sure how they are getting away with it.
Just doing some meatballs then settling down with a nice glass of red.
Glass of Sauvignon Blanc here @AuntyRach as apéro. Possum is cooking Fakeaway sweet and sour pork with a chilli kick tonight and I've just finished sewing a new bag, killing 3 birds with one stone. I have to teach several workshops this year and the bag covers 3 - Polka Dot Smocking, Jelly Roll triangles and a simple bag into which one can insert a bag organiser which I've already made.
I hope all goes well with the donkey manoeuvres tomorrow @Busy-Lizzie and hope they take plenty of maize to keep him happy on the journey.
One of my patch ladies has advised me she'll be late for our AGM on Monday as she has a class of brain therapy exercises designed to improve concentration and memory. Good to know.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Fillet of lamb shoulder and a glass of Valdevieso malbec here. Not much done today, lovely visit from GD R she's passed her driving test at first attempt. She has matured so much in the last few months. She is off to University on the 17th, her twin will really miss her most.
Good news about your op @Yviestevie, OH has his telephone appointment with a Physio next week so hopefully we might know a bit more. He's dragging his feet on going private but it's up to him really. Wasn't BL's OH going in for his hip op this month?
Not his op, Lizzie. He has an appointment with a cardiologist next week as the anaesthetist postponed his op because his BP was high, but he has white coat syndrome, it's always high if a doctor takes it, normal at home.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning everyone. Very windy here this morning. Looks as though the predictions might come true this time. 🙄. No rain nor snow yet, but they are still rabbiting on about it.
Red wine and pizza for us last night after the rugby match. Beziers lost at the last minute. So had an extra glass!!
Grilling peppers today for freezing. Will make some pepper mini-muffins too, to freeze for that handy out-of-the freezer nibble with a glass of white, if friends drop in. Can bake them in a bigger mould as they are good with a salad (for our vegetarian contingent here).
Wind coming from the north today after many days of sea breezes bringing dampness and mist. Clear skies, more or less, but decent cloud formations.
A saying for September: Pluie de septembre, pluie de novembre, Seront gelées en décembre. So if you have had a lot of rain .......
Congratulations to your GDR @Allotment Boy a driving licence is the key to independence, What lot of dedication she has shown this year despite the difficulties of covid, she certainly hasn't let anything stop her path!

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I've spent a lot of the afternoon stacking logs, nearly finished but I've had enough.
Caesar, the donkey is leaving early tomorrow morning. He's now quite happy about going into the trailer. P bribed him with maize which he loves.

Fingers crossed it all goes ahead @Yviestevie.
