That's lovely @punkdoc ... you can bond over the tribulations wrought on gardeners by moles ........... gotta love Kenneth Graham's  Moley  and his cousin Moldy Warp  in Alison Uttley's books ;)

    Just back from visiting.
He's just sleeping a lot today so I left him to it.
I spoke with one of the carers. She said he was chatting to one of the other residents who was a bit upset " if you need a doctor, "A" will get one for you. He's really nice and he'd do anything to help anyone"  :'(

Bless him,  such a lovely big strong man reduced in  a blink, I can’t believe it.😢

    Bless!

Great news on the tennis front although we didn't watch it (not tennis fans). Very impressive given her age.

I'm quite excited as my tomatoes are actually, at last, going red. I'd rather given up hope. I think the apples are also ripe enough to pick and might do that later today.

@Ergates, the big bush is a cornus sibirica which grows like mad, I'll cut it right down next spring as usual. The bright red stems look good over winter in front of the cream Bath stone and give us something cheerful to look at over the winter.

My sympathies @Wonkywomble, we once had very drunken Russians in the hotel bedroom next to us in Cyprus - absolute nightmare and the night porter didn't want to get involved.

Looks sunny and warm again outside so must get on out there. Hope Didyw's Garden event goes well.

    Russians have ruined Goa.
Between them and Israelis, they carve up the territory, bribe the police then supply all the drugs and prostitutes for their patches

Think @WonkyWomble’s ‘Russians’ are mainly Russian-speaking refugees … including the Afghan neighbour my son has been trying to help … a different kettle of fish to wealthy Russian holidaymakers  😉
    A lot of folk from
the ‘-istans’ have a bit of Russian as a Lingua Franca … whereas folk from other parts of the world might have some English in common.

Indeed so. I'm sure Russians Abroad are no more representative as " Brits Abroad" who have done much to ruin many a holiday destination

    Hi all.

    Great match last night! 🎾

Sounds like you’ll be consulting and advising next door then @punkdoc 😅

Lovely day here - collecting apples, grass cutting and potting on seedlings.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • We’ve arrived … George is much more fun to drive than Lola was. Now my feet are up and OH is inspecting a piece of trellis and looking for something to use as battens.
