@Biglad - Ruby was right - I confirm her identifying. These are your next generation of Cyrils or Brians. If you leave them exposed the little birds will find them and do you a huge favour!
Hazel, SM dash was nice and easy I actually got everything I needed - plus 3 lavender plants leapt into my basket. Glad you like the cartoon.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Thanks folks. They were fairly exposed but I binned them anyway.
I'm planning to touch up the lettering on my parents headstone as well @Songbird-1. Do you think you need permission? I'm going to get in touch with somebody about the best paint to use anyway, I think. They're over 200 miles away in a different country so it needs a bit of planning.
Son 2 rang this morning to ask if I would be willing to make salads for 40 at his birthday BBQ on Sunday. I had already offered. It's the day after the baptism of their baby boy so there will be family who are staying for the weekend at their home and in B&Bs. Son has been working, dentist, and his lovely wife has her hands full with 5 little ones.
I've been shopping for ingredients this morning. I'll prepare it tomorrow morning. Should be a fun weekend.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@Songbird-1 .... forum member @Lyn and her OH are stone-masons and have spent much time re-furbing gravestones and war memorials .... maybe she could advise on something that'd look good and last. Â

Topbird I’m glad you’re enjoying trip round Norwich.  It does still sound a good place to visit.  I hope oh will be rested for next part of the journey.  You can get rather weathered on a bicycle.  It will be good to look round the cathedral.  Enjoy your Cromer treats.  LB yes I love watching the dressage.  The horses are so beautiful and elegant.  I hope you managed to pick up all you needed from the sm.  I had a lovely meal today a small portion of rice with chicken and water chestnuts in a black bean sauce, really lovely.  I visited mum and dad.  They’re still under the weather but looking better than they did.  I was rather dizzy today so had to leave sooner than I’d planned, although lovely to see them.  Hazel i hope you and oh find the information you need.  Busy 40 salads that’s quite a feat.  It will be lovely to be there though.  Enjoy the rest of your day.
Hi RosieBB. I am sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit dizzy this afternoon but it must have been very nice making the visit to your Mum and Dad. Did you get a new phone sorted out the other day?

Hazel fingers crossed Alfie is doing well and likes his food and still gets his soft ball out to play.  He’ll be 10 next year.  LB yes I ordered a mobile phone yesterday.  I’ve had mine 3 years and thought I should get one.  I can only text and phone, no WiFi because of US ban on my old phone.  Lily I’m glad you had a better night.
