Morning Ruby, no I'm still up and wide awake. Haven't much to do today, so will have a lazy day. Will try not to nod off this afternoon, it will probably hit me around 3ish. Could be a vicious circle if I do 😂
Thinking of you @Chivetalking hope your mums op is this morning and not too long a wait.
Sorry Rosie,  hope all goes well at the Vets.

Morning Hazel, it certainly is pretty miserable weather here. Still raining and dark. I've put some lamps on. A little chilly too, definitely not warm enough for a short sleeved top today.
OH is feeling better this morning thank you. Think a restful day yesterday and a good night's sleep did him good.
Sorry you had a bad nights sleep again Hazel, our sleep patterns have certainly been affected this last year.

Another wet and gloomy day, heating may be going on again, it was on yesterday.

    Good luck to @Chivetalking's Mum.

Good morning all .... Thinking of Chive and her mum ... 🤞

h*w*k being done here  :o   as we're going away for a few days at the end of the week I thought I ought to buff the floors ... not sure why?  :/

  • Thank you LB, Lily and Hazel, Alfie is back from the vets.  Nothing prescribed this time after his examination.  Alfie was much relieved and back for some Dreamies.  He is looking much better, his sore bottom has improved and he is much happier.  Lily it’s cooler here without the sun.  Hazel sorry you’ve had a bad night.  I had one yesterday but slept last night.  LB I hope you managed to get all your shopping.  I’m going to endeavour to get in touch with electric and gas company.  Wish me luck.

Good luck Bluebells ... I've spent some time this morning on hold to HMRC ... got through to a nice chap in the end ... he's going to Edinburgh for his hols.  B)

  • Dove thank you but they’re having technical difficulties today so I’m having a cup of tea.  The sun is shining again though.

Afties all. I've been working in the garden almost as soon as I got back from shopping - just had a brunch break first. Done some dead heading and cutting back and watering in the GH. The garden has gone bonkers. The sun came out and it was steamy outside. Made working out there very nice after the deluges of yesterday.
RosieBB, I'm pleased that Alfie is well on the mend now and if he's eating that is always a good sign.
Chive - if you get chance to look in - hope that your Mum has had her op to reset her leg and is now recovering. Thinking of you and the family.x
