I meant to pop in earlier. We had a lovely day out, seafood platter with warm baguette and butter, and salad for lunch. OH bought me 2 tops in Seasalt for my birthday next month. There were lots of people in Southwold, we normally go there out of holiday season. Yes @Topbird, it was Sole Bay. Looking forward to seeing you and Dove tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good morning Rubee and all to follow. Glad you slept well. Back to work for me today feeling  better after a day in the garden and everything looks tidier but I have the same issue as @Ladybird4 too much green not enough colour! More sweeping and weeding to do but I am getting on top of things.
Expensive time for us too issues with the van luckily fiancé can go to work on his motorbike and I can use the bud. Borrowed sisters car for cinema trip last night.
Hope you all have a good day. Thinking of @Chivetalking and her mom.

Good morning Ruby and Debs. I had a decent night's sleep and am looking forward to whatever the weather throws at me. Today's exercises for you:
PEANUTS on Twitter Snoopy funny Snoopy comics Snoopy love
Busy, my mouth positively watered when I read about your meal yesterday. Lush!
Debs, I'm glad it's not just my garden that's a green oasis - I still love it though.

The news is very grim this morning with the shocking, on-going stories of wild fires all over the place. Climate change is definitely going to be the next big story though it has been rumbling for a while.
I got some happier news yesterday, U3A Canasta is starting again next month - Friday 10th! I am looking forward to that. Note to self, refresh my memory as to how to play!

    Morning all,

Very quick inspection lap this morning - all shipshape with no overnight disasters. The marigolds are still doing sterling work scattered around - I just haven't grown enough to keep replacing them all when the Cyrils have decimated them :o

It's fine at the minute but expecting Marti to drop in later. Not sure I'll get another lunchtime run today as Wednesdays look like they could be a bit fraught on this job. It'll be 7.18pm before I know it and I'll have barely moved :(
