Hazel I’m pleased to hear your goods regarding your family.  It’s good to be together.  LB good luck with the bungalow viewing with your brother.  Take care Ante try to do the work early out of the afternoon sun.  Goodnight everybody.
I woke up at 4am, fed Alfie and had some breakfast.  Im just about to have some tea.  I hope you all slept.  LB Lily probably thought you’d learned a new dance😊.   I’m glad you found the frog hopper though.  Chive thinking of you.  Lily I’m glad you had a relaxing day, something so welcome.
You know that Autumn is creeping up when you have to put your lights on in the house as you get up. I noticed that my echinops are just starting to colour up and the bees have spotted it too and were swarming over them yesterday. My cardoons, which are normally taller than the gh are only half last years height. I will have to look at those once they die back.
Busy I am sure that you will work off that extra weight when you get back to France. I'm betting you still have lots of jobs to do in the house.
I hope Debs, Yvie and Chive are holding up and keeping strong.
It will not be joyous looking at bungalows for handy brother in the rain! I hope that you all have great days.
I am still struggling to take on board the mass shootings in Plymouth. Thoughts are with all the people affected.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Hello all 😊 we’re back from MIL’s … a lovely visit catching up with OH’s sisters and old friends, and doing odds and ends for MIL … hedges and lawn cut and shed painted … it’ll need another coat when we next visit.Â
Hope everyone’s having a good weekend …
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Rosie, I'll join you with tea, but I'll have ice tea.Â
LB, echinops are lovely. I had few of them but it was a long ago. Indeed, autumn is approaching. Day is a bit shorter here. I'm also still in shock about happenings in Plymouth.
I slept well last night. Decided not to go to cottage today. I'll go tomorrow very early to avoid sun. Like I said, now ice tea and we shall see what to do today.Â

Did quite a lot of gardening today, weeded the back garden flower beds. Hope knee and back are OK tomorrow.
