Good morning all. Sorry to hear about your friends daughter LB fingers crossed it’s nothing too serious. Glad you enjoyed the rhubarb cordial, I used the rhubarb too, ate it with yoghurt. Delicious.
Sounds like you have all been busy. I am off today so youngest daughter is here for lunch with her little Thomas. Got bbq food to eat up I will send her back with some for her husband. He is tall and thin and could eat for England!
Hope you all have a good day

    Morning everyone,
Slept quite well again, woke up a couple of times, but dozed off again quite quickly.
@Busy-Lizzie your day out sounds perfect. Lovely photo of you both, that was kind of the person to take it for you. The beach looks lovely too, oh how I'd love to walk along a beach. Haven't been on a beach since 2019 😥
Sorry to hear your friends daughter is poorly @Ladybird4 hope its nothing serious. Best wishes to them both.
@Biglad hope you enjoyed your evening, even if your plans had changed.
@debs64 have a lovely day with your daughter and baby Thomas 🥰
@Rubee hope your OH had a good night's sleep. And you too of course. Take care.
Looks very grey and dull out there this morning. Do hope the sun arrives. We have the table lamps on at the moment.
    Have a good day everyone.

Hello all from a rainy Norfolk 🌧 I’m blaming my Under Gardener … it was dry out there until he went out for a thrash around the village on his bike 🚴
They wrote that song ‘Why does it always rain on me?’ about him 😂

Hope your friend’s daughter makes a good and swift recovery LB … these things can be so worrying.

Fingers crossed that the weather picks up … enjoy your day everyone 😊

Morning Debs, SGL and Dove. Thank you all for your kind words about my Bestie's daughter. Debs, you will have such a fun time with that little sweetie Thomas. I hope that you manage to pass on the BBQ left overs - I'll have some please! SGL, autumn is definitely creeping up on us (and I am still waiting for summer in my garden!) and I had to have lights on too. Dove I always think about the intro to the Pink Panther cartoons, where he is followed by a single rain cloud that only rains on him. I swear that happens over my house.

    Morning all,

Very damp here this morning - most of the newly-flowered cornflowers are now horizontal due to the wind/wet.

    Fit or knackered @Ladybird4 :o

    Good morning from rainy Croatia.
Thank you all for the rain. It's pouring outside. Such a lovely sight.

Lovely photos Bussy. I'm glad that you had a nice day.

LB, did you made this knitted Nemo. It's gorgeous.

I was at cottage yesterday and it was awful. Still have back pain. I done all what I intended but sun was burning. This refreshment is so nice. Nothing to do today, I'll only make pasta with zucchini and mushroom s for lunch.

A very good morning to you Ante. I am so pleased that the rain got to you a day earlier than expected! Today is time for you to rest, look after that back, and enjoy the rain. Yes, I did knit the Nemo. I really enjoyed knitting it and am looking forward to seeing my Bestie's granddaughter's face when I can give him to her!

Biglad, things are looking pretty battered here too (I'm not counting me!) Glad I managed some work yesterday between showers but that wind was really blowing a hooley last night.

    Good morning all.

The rain must be a relief for you @Ante30. It rained here in the night too.

I hope Bestie's daughter will get better soon, LB.

We are going to lunch with friends today. First we are going to Morrisons. OH's niece is coming to stay arriving tomorrow morning, going on Thursday afternoon. She is vegetarian, no gluten, no dairy. I need some ideas! Have decided to do a vegetable curry tomorrow evening and I'll throw in some prawns for OH and me.

  • LB I slept well too.  I hope your friends daughter makes a good recovery and that it was the antibiotics.  I did like your clown fish for Sofia.  It’s lovely.  Busy thank you for sharing your lovely photos.  Biglad I hope you enjoyed the ref-ing. Right time, right place.  Hazel I hope you’re sleeping well on the new mattress now.  Lily I hope you both rested well.  I slept passed my alarm this morning and was glad of the rest.  Chive I hope mum is resting after her physio and you too.
