  • Good morning Rubee, LB, Ante, Debs and Dove.  Early bird sm shop completed, although I felt I lost time in there.  I managed to stock up on cat food for a couple of weeks.  Ante take care, don’t overdo it.   Dove good to hear there may be some positive steps ahead.

    Good morning all.

I'm preparing for my journey back to France on Sunday. Staying with OH's daughter on the south coast tomorrow night, ferry on Sunday, long drive to south of Poitiers where I'll be staying with my daughter 1. Home on Monday.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Busy I hope you are all packed.  Enjoy your stay with daughter 1 and I wish you a very good journey.  Hazel I hope the appointment goes well this afternoon for your daughter.  I’m waiting in for the plumber as water is pouring into cistern and dripping into the toilet basin.

Hazel ,I am sorry to hear that you daughters blackouts have increased. There is no telling when and how many .My OH blacks out at least once a week . Occasionally he has three in a day .Very rarely he could go 10 days without one. Then they return to about once a week .I do hope that your daughter can get more help .

Afternoon all. Sorry that you didn't find a dress you liked Debs. How long have you got before the wedding? Maybe you will spot something online.
RosieBB, I did the early morning SM dash. When I was at 'sco, a tray of six hardy cyclamens, all well covered in buds, leapt into my trolley. They were just £4 and I think they were a bargain. Once I got home and unloaded all the vittels and stashed them away, I got them planted into the garden. I'll just have to make sure the pheasants don't attack them. I haven't seen them too often recently though I did startle one on Wednesday as I went down to my compost bin.
Busy, it just seems like the other day when you arrived back in Norfolk. You have quite a journey ahead of you so I hope that you have a decent drive down to the south coast tomorrow. Bon voyage.
RosieBB, I hope that the plumber has sorted out your leaky cistern. Why do these things always happen at the weekend? At least it isn't leaking all over your floor.
Hazel, I was so sorry to hear that your daughter's blood tests have been postponed and that the frequency of her black outs has increased. Such a different story to my Bestie's daughter who doesn't seem to have any problem getting blood tests done.
I have a carpet cleaner Hazel and it gets borrowed and used by all my friends more times than I use it but they are good things for cleaning and freshening the carpets.
Ruby, its a good job that you know what to do now when your OH has his blackouts but it must be scary times when it does happen.
I hope that Ante has had a good day harvesting and that Biglad - who isn't counting down the days - has had his nose to the grindstone today. He will probably be on running round the field duties tomorrow.

Lovely cyclamen plants LB what a bargain! Glad Rosie got her loo fixed. Sorry to hear about poor care for poorly people. I wonder when the nhs will be back to normal.
Wedding is October 3rd I have ordered 12 dresses online and am having a fashion show with 2 of my daughters on Sunday hoping I can find the perfect dress and send 11 back! I am a person who wears dresses a lot always in a skirt not trousers so I can reuse this one I hope.
Work quiet so hoping for a good day tomorrow

12 dresses Debs?? Are you certain they will arrive for your fashion show on Sunday? You should have a happy time making your decision with your daughters advice.
