Hi folks, Sorry I haven't been around for a while but it's been a bit of a difficult time on lot of fronts. I have been struggling with gall bladder pain and been feeling depressed about lot of things. I have had my medication altered and have started a very low fat diet and feel a bit better now. Hubby is doing OK but I'm finding it a bit of a challenge to cope with his loss of speech and his 'new habits' I feel guilty about my feelings and know I should just be grateful that he is OK. Earlier in the year one of Merri's friends lost her mum to liver failure and now her best friend's mum has died of Covid after being on a ventilator for a number of weeks, at the moment the problems just seem never ending. Sorry for moaning and I promise to try and be a bit more cheerful.
I have suffered that pain myself and it is horrible! Its good to see you though Yvie and remember that we are all here for you even though we can only offer encouraging words. You just take your time, make sure you get lots of rest. Have you had any notification about an operation yet? So sad to hear about the two Mum's too.

Sorry to hear you are going through a bad time @Yviestevie sometimes life is hard isn’t it? One day at a time and be kind to yourself.
Those bacon butties look delicious though I always think bacon smells so much better than it tastes.
Well I picked out my dress. There were a couple I liked but then I found the one. Obviously the most expensive but very pretty and flattering and “me”. Just shoes and underwear to sort out now Hope you have all had a good Sunday.
The journey has been OK, but long. I'm now at Daughter 1's, south of Poitiers. I tried to type on my mobile but it has French spell cheque which makes it very difficult. Most of what's on my phone is English but the man in the Orange shop couldn't change spellcheck. I've unpacked my Laptop.
We had dinner on the terrace, dark comes later here as France is an hour ahead. Home tomorrow afternoon. Wish OH was with me, as had been planned. I stayed with his daughter and family last night in Eastbourne. Caught the Newhaven/Dieppe ferry.
I'm sorry things haven't been easy @Yviestevie.You've had a hard time recently.
Hello there Busy. Good to see you and glad that you are nearly home. It will be nice having a catch up tonight but tinged with the sadness that your OH is not with you.
Woo hoo Debs, the dress is chosen. Don't keep us in suspenders - what colour, style length etc.
It is time for me to say good night people.See you all tomorrow.
