Debs, prompted somewhat by your post the other day and weather permitting later I think I am going to bite the bullet and pull apart my annual hanging baskets. The rain and wind over the last few days has ripped them to pieces and they are looking extremely battered.

Hello all … I’m putting the coffee on … form an orderly queue … help yourselves to milk and sugar … there are teabags and a kettle available but someone will have to organise that … my hands are full …. put your names down for dippy eggs and toastie soldiers later … 😉

SGL, what a lovely surprise in the SM for you yesterday! I hope it didn't mean you forgot things on your shopping list.
Biglad, your post made me smile as I was asked the self same question recently. Hello, they had my D.O.B. surely that might have been a big enough clue but also the fact that my cancer had meant removsl of everything necessary for such an occurrence was a dead giveaway. Luckily I was able to share a laugh with the questioner who apologised profusely when I guffawed and she explained that they HAD to ask these questions.
I had the Astra Zeneca vaccine so just cut out the 'old folk' reference - we are only 27 after all.

Oops manners - meant to say good morning RosieBB. Another early day. I went to bed after the One Hundred. Did you watch it? I was expecting a great finish when Liam Livingstone started pinging them all over the ground and then that unfortunate run out. I was staggered. Good morning Dove you snuckered in there. The majority of us are tea drinkers first thing in the morning.

Well, there’s English Breakfast or Darjeeling on offer or a nettle and fennel tisane …. but I’m only to be trusted with my own Darjeeling (I drink it very pale) … morning tea is not my forté … apparently 😯
so you’ll probably prefer to make  your own …  ☕️ 🫖

Good morning all. I may join you in the hanging basket removal LB mine have not been up to their usual standard this year and are now very scruffy! I went out last night at 11 in the pouring rain and thunderstorm to fetch Graham in. I couldn’t sleep thinking of him cold and wet in the garden. I am hoping a few more weeks of sunshine are on the cards to fatten him up before his hibernation. It’s been a short summer this year I am worried and trying to feed him lots.
What are you all up to today? Fiancé is at a wedding again, he said yesterday afternoon was dry where he was, the Whirral? He is in Shrewsbury today.

    Morning everyone,
It must have rained during the night as it was quite wet when I got up this morning. The sun is trying to peek through, I do hope it is a sunny day. I might take down the hanging basket by the front door. It's looking a bit sorry for itself. The ones at the back are ok. But I think I might take down the sweet peas.
Haha @Ladybird4 yes I did....I forgot my yogurt I like having with fruit and granola 🤦🏻‍♀️ but I'd rather have seen my gorgeous little poppet 🥰
Hope you're feeling better this morning @Rubee
@bluebellsinthewild have a restful day, hope you managed a bit more sleep last night
    Have a lovely day everyone

Morning Ruby and SGL. Gosh, yes Debs. You do need to keep an eye on him. Have you a sun lamp? Poor Graham, I bet he was glad you rescued him last night. It rained here but I'm pleased to say - no thunder. I've made a definite decision - the hanging baskets are going.
You must be feeling better Ruby, asking about bacon butties so that is very good news. I am feeling a bit off side this morning so I've decided to play it safe and cancel the rellie visit. I think I ate too much fruit yesterday.
Yes, SGL seeing that little ray of sunshine in the SM is far nicer than getting a yoghurt. That can be done another time.
