Aargh aargh and triple aargh Biglad. Why do workmen have to be such dorks? Harking back to when the road was being ripped up outside my house, everyone in the neighbourhood assumed that the whole of the lane was being done in stages as the 'Road Closed' signs were constantly being moved. How wrong could we be! There was only about a hundred metre stretch done and this was by no means the worse stretch in the lane. Why? No one can fathom it at all.
p.s. you could always try the 'If anything happens to my car because of this removal of the ramp I will be sending the bill for the repairs to U.U.'

Good morning everyone .Love the cartoon LB .I remember when we had scaffolding up to repair the roof . When the the men took the the scaffolding down they threw each separate piece into the garden flattening all my plants .Then they trampled over what was left to retrieve the poles .I didn’t see the scaffolding coming down but I sure saw them trampling on the garden .

Good morning Ruby. I bet you gave them hell too! Are you gardening today? I found a piece of ginger left over from making Debs' rhubarb cordial which had developed a little shoot so for curiosity's sake I am going to plant it and see what happens. I've also got two rooted cuttings I want to get potted up. Today's job list gets longer but number one is the SM dash.

    Morning all,

We have new cats in the neighbourhood - deep joy for Victor Meldrew here :(

Nearly another week of work done though. Only 6 weeks left :)

    Anyone know what this is?

Morning everyone, we have sunshine here too 🤫
Went to bed early last night as I was feeling tired, was going to read a book for awhile, but must have dozed off very quickly. Woke this morning around 7.30. Still feel rather tired though 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
Unmentionables and cloth things to get wet and dried today.
    Have a lovely day everyone.

    Indeed @Songbird-1 :)

The mystery deposit has been binned but would still like to know what we think it was.
