Is she the daughter with MS @debs64? Difficult for you too and you will have to encourage her and help boost her confidence. I'm sure it will all be lovely on the day. Most people are anxious before their wedding.

@Ladybird the donkey is called Caesar, bit butch for him as he looks so cuddly, but maybe not - given his character!

    Too hot for gardening now.

Afties all. Hazel, are your chairs all set up yet? It will be nice to see them all set in place around the new table.
RosieBB, glad that you got to see your rellies earler.
Busy thanks for telling me about Caesar. He did look very cute in the picture you posted.
I decided to make the most of the sunshine earlier and put Lily's TV on. The sun has actually disappeared now but hopefully the wet things will be dried. I have been asked to cat sit (i.e. feed twice a day) for Jack's daughter next week so I've to get final instructions later on today. I'm pleased to report that the nomad cat is completely settled back in her home so I don't need to worry about her wandering off again. I've told Jack that I will be keeping an eye on him too - he laughed!
Debs, I agree with Busy. Your daughter needs to be reassured that the nerves are to be expected before her special day and you need to present a stiff upper lip despite your concerns too, as she may just pick up on your stress.

  • LB yes she did really well.  I went over the clothes with the hot flat thing and then I’ve been researching mobile phones and preparing tea.  Hazel I’m glad youre impressed with your table and chairs.

Evening all,  Haven't done much today, got my nails sorted and went to Besties for a cuppa and gossip.  This afternoon I've done an online shop as I had to order the ingredients for Gabriel's green cake.  By the way good luck with the talking balloon  :D
Glad Chey's roof is being sorted and the Wedding dress sleeve problem has been solved.

I've done weeding outside and dragging a sucking thing about inside. Then had a long chat with Bestie on the phone. Now that I've moved house in France she's an hour away instead of 5 mins.

Glad you're feeling better today Rubee.

Been and got my instructions and got reacquainted with Candy and Pepsi - who ignored me. I don't think they will be much trouble. Jack on the other hand is a different kettle of fish (Ante: totally different to the related topic). I went to call on him and he was slumped asleep in front of the TV and worryingly when I went round the back, his conservatory door and  back door were wide open. I had words! He said I'm like a Sergeant Major! All good humoured banter but I will have to keep an eye on him.
Hazel, Chey is very pleased with the new medication he is on as it is working well.

There was an incident at the corner of my lane last night. An elderly woman had a fall in the road. The police and ambulance arrived about 45 minutes later. I don't have very many details but I don't think she was badly injured. The police talked to all the onlookers. The ambulance didn't leave for another hour. Jack was telling me all this.
