    Good morning all.
It was sunny, but now it's cloudy. Funny how we don't always have the same weather as @Dovefromabove when we aren't that far away, we didn't have storms yesterday.

We are going to visit an NGS garden today. Today should have been the day I collected OH from hospital having had his hip replacement. He's fed up.

Good Morning All, overcast and wet forecast today, fortunately I did manage to cut our front & back grass yesterday afternoon.
LB Hope the weather allows for some outside activity today,
Rubee Hope you have a good day ahead,
SGL It sounds like you had a wonderful day yesterday, so nice to be with your family,
Biglad An action packed morning already, hope you can get the parts needed for your gutter, though the current system is working well by the looks of it 🙂
Debs Lucky you were able to eat outside with your son yesterday, have a nice visit to fiancé’s family today,
Dove I do like a slow cooker dinner, nice to free your time for other pursuits while it’s bubbling away,
Busy Enjoy your visit to the garden, it’s such a shame that this is not the way today should have gone,

Hope you have a lovely Sunday everyone.
  • I had breakfast with the rellies, a bowl of their home grown strawberries.  Hazel and Lily magical times with the little people are so precious.   Back home to do some unmentionables and then make lunch.  Have a good day everyone.

    Good Morning Hazel & Bluebells,
Hazel sounds like a lovely day for cloth things to dry and a nice stroll with OH,
Bluebells That is a very pretty rose, the thought of eating those home grown strawberries is making my mouth water yum 😋
I am making a cherry tart for dessert today and hurrah the sun is out ☀️

@Busy-Lizzie when I first moved to Norwich as a student there was a massive thunderstorm and our landlady told us that the Norwich storms track along the rivers and meet up in Norwich ... it does seem to happen a bit like that ... but yesterday my son said they'd had a massive storm near Portman Road in Ipswich and it was heading our way, and sure enough about an hour later it arrived and sat around for quite a while.

@Songbird-1 Hazel Fantastic! you’ve had a bike ride that must have felt good (apart from the sore behind) yes I hope all is well with Topbird.
    Happy to share 🥧😊

I hope @Topbird is OK too.

We've just had a very heavy shower, I hope this afternoon is dry for the people opening their garden. I've opened my garden before, my old house in France. You plan and weed and prune and make cakes etc, so disappointing if the weather spoils it.

That storm must have been more east then @Dovefromabove. We went to Swaffham for lunch after the lighting shop. It was market day there, eventually found a parking place.

Where did you eat in Swaffham @Busy-Lizzie?  There used to be a really good place called the Red Door, but I don’t think it’s there now.

It was a pub with tables outside under an awning looking out at the market place. They had Doombar beer, which I like but, for a change I had a golden beer that I hadn't had before.
