Afternoon everyone, it turned out to be a beautiful day. We went for a walk through the woods and then sat in a shady part of the garden for the rest of the afternoon. Just come indoors after giving the garden a good watering.  Now time for tea.
Beautiful flowers @Songbird-1 glad you got things sorted at the dentist. Hope it's not too sore. Hope you get to see your mum soon.
@Busy-Lizzie I meant to say I think I would be flapping about and saying a few words too if that landed on me 😣
Thank you @Chivetalking and @bluebellsinthewild throat is much better now.

Evening all. I have been busy all day today - getting more of my hardy perennials planted out from the GH into the garden. I am now nicely tired. Busy, what an absolutely stunning moth. I guess it wasn't too welcome as they do flutter about quite a lot but it is a beautiful specimen.
Biglad, those condemned tomatoes were very good. As you said, a learning curve about the reliability of their germination.
Chive, I hope your meet with your Mum was full of laughter and seeing the small people again will have been spirit lifting too.
Hazel, hope all went well today at the Dentist's. My chives look very like yours and the bees love the flowers. I had to rescue a bee from one of the birdbaths poor thing. It looked like it was swimming the channel. (Note to self: put some pebbles in the bird bath to help the buzzy things get out). This is the first time ever I have had a bee stuck in the water. I had to use the pooter to rescue one from the GH too.
p.s. Chive, I did get my compost this morning.
I've just caught up and I see that the dental visit was a success. My alliums hvae just burst Hazel, I'll try and get a picture.
Ruby that is excellent service and good to know that they can deliver so quickly

I am signing out for tonight but before I leave I'll give you some examples of our idiosyncratic language:
The word 'queue' is just a q followed by 4 silent letters.
Jail and Prison are synonyms but Jailer and Prisoner are antonyms.
Your fingers have fingertips but your toes don't have toetips. Yet you can walk on tiptoe but you can't tipfinger.
    Funny old language ours!
    See you all tomorrow.

Good morning @Rubee and all to follow, we slept better last night too, think it was a bit cooler, we sat out in the garden until 10.30 hoping to see bats but no luck, maybe that made for a better night.
Bit of babysitting for me then an afternoon in the garden. Very excited that DA roses is now open again, planned a trip on Monday with youngest daughter and baby Thomas, never too young to get him interested in gardening!!
I most definitely do not need another rose and I have no space for one anywhere!! I will not be buying a rose.
Gorgeous sunny day here hope you all have good things planned.

Good morning Ruby, you snuckered in there. Glad to hear that your OH had a good night's sleep. My night was a bit broken up. It was getting light at 03:00 this morning and my blackbird was singing his head off.
